Dr. Emily Zerba is a Board-Certified physician in Family Medicine and by the North American Menopause Society with additional training and certifications in Integrative Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology with summa cum laude honors and completed her honors thesis in Stem Cell regulation from the University of Colorado.
After completing her medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017, Dr. Zerba then completed her residency at St. Anthony's Family Medicine program in Westminster, Colorado.
As an established physician in the Roaring Fork Valley, Dr. Zerba is excited to offer a new model of healthcare with Thrive Osteopathy and Direct Primary Care. Her approach is patient-centered and focuses on empowering her patients to take control of their health by promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
Dr. Zerba is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of care and is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and technology. She believes that a strong doctor-patient relationship is essential to providing the best possible care and takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns and answer their questions.
In addition to skiing, Dr. Zerba enjoys mountain biking, road biking, and being active in the outdoors with her family. Dr. Zerba is dedicated to serving her community and looks forward to providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare to all her patients.
Cybil is a healthcare virtual assistant and registered pharmacist from the Philippines. Graduating from the University of the Immaculate Conception with a degree in pharmacy, she is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Pharmacy, specializing in the same field. Cybil's professional journey is diverse, beginning with four years as a hospital pharmacist followed by a stint in community pharmacy. Transitioning to the realm of education, she found her passion teaching pharmacology and pharmaceutical calculations, eventually becoming a clinical instructor guiding fourth-year students toward their pharmacy careers.
Beyond her professional commitments, Cybil is deeply involved in community service, volunteering for various initiatives like earthquake relief, feeding programs, and medical outreach efforts. She also holds leadership roles in a pharmacy organization within her province, showcasing her dedication to advancing the field. An avid traveler, Cybil finds tranquility by the beach, indulging her love for adventure and exploration. With a heart for family and animals, she shares her home with 10 beloved dogs, cherishing the bonds of friendship and family in both her personal and professional life.
